Enquadramento
This internship aims to provide the intern with practical experience in the field of Digital Security Engineering and Project Management, allowing them to:
1. Delivery and Rollout:
• Oversee the delivery and rollout of security tools and profiles.
• Ensure that configurations and improvements made by security engineers meet expectations and timescales.
2. Skills Development:
• Develop skills in risk management, task management, ticket management, evaluation, project planning, and running meetings.
3.Tools and Methodologies:
• Gain proficiency in Agile methodologies, complex project and team management using Atlassian tools.
4. Outcomes:
• Produce scope and delivery reports showing the improvements, criteria or objectives met, along with cost and time control.
Objetivo
Upon completion of this internship, the intern is expected to have achieved the following learning outcomes:
Practical Experience:
• Gain hands-on experience in the delivery and rollout of security tools and profiles.
Technical Proficiency:
• Develop proficiency in using Agile methodologies
• Develop expertise in Atlassian tools, configuration and set up.
Improved Skills:
• Enhance skills in risk management, task management, ticket management, evaluation, project planning, and running meetings.
Reporting and Evaluation:
• Produce reports showing improvements, criteria or objectives met
• Reports showing overall cost, resource and time control.
Practical experience:
• Designing, developing, and deploying project plans and processes.
• Understanding of both the Technology platforms used within CAG and the business processes
•Improved teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A portfolio of completed works demonstrating their abilities and deliverables, including however not limited to:
o Establish an internal project success framework
o Documented testing framework
o Establish visual KPI dashboards and reporting
o Competed project requirement and risk process, from initial design through to production use.

The intern will be involved in the following activities:
1. Requirements Gathering:
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders to understand needs
• Document requirements for projects and test cases.
• Test different methods of how to ensure requirements are captured in a manner than can be referenced and ensure later testing completeness against requirements is done in an efficient manner.
2. Project Planning:
• Create and manage project plans,
• Run and chair meetings reporting issues or escalations,
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and meet expectations with evidence
• Review processes and critique to highlight current risks or inefficiencies that cause project delays, or duplication of effort.
3. Risk Management:
• Identify and manage risks associated with the delivery and rollout of security tools.
• Report upon the change of risk posture before and after projects
• Recommend communication manner and tracking of risks, ensuring that if there are failures of process these are captured with solutions tied into the requirement gathering phases.
4. Evaluation:
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security tools and configurations,
• Ensuring they meet the defined requirements with evidence
• Clear roles and responsibilities for the running, maintained and assurance of the tooling.
• Explore methods to evaluate the success of each stage across a wide range of stakeholders in a way lessons learnt can be captures with future suggestions for improvements
5. Research & Learning:
• Research and learn about best practices and techniques in Security and Project Management technology.
6. Project Participation:
• Contributing to ongoing projects within the company related to process improvement and project management.

Condições
The intern will have the following conditions:
• Work equipment (computer)
• Hybrid work model (maximum 1x per week in the office)
• Monthly Compensation (to be discussed with student later on)
• Meal allowance
Observações
The intern's performance will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using the relevant platforms and project management skills
• Problem Solving Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to spillage, pivot and risk reduction in projects.
• Communication Skills: Effectiveness in communicating with stakeholders and team members.
• Teamwork: Contribution to team efforts and collaboration with colleagues.
• Professionalism: Adherence to company policies and professional conduct.
• Project Deliverables: Quality and timeliness of completed projects.
• Regular meetings with the mentor with formal biweekly check-ins to discuss progress and provide feedback.
• Performance review by the mentor/ sponsor at the midpoint and end of the internship.
• Intern's self-assessment of their learning and achievements.
• Internal benchmark of knowledge, speed/efficiency of work management and security score improvement/ change over time
