Design and implement a unified cyber security management and monitoring solution for threat detection, incident response, and compliance management across cloud and on-premises environments.
Objetivo
Identify and evaluate the requirements for a unified security management and monitoring solution for cyber threat detection, incident response, and compliance management across Critical Software cloud and on-premises environments and find different product options that address the identified requirements. Using a selected product, design and implement the unified cyber security management and monitoring solution in Critical Software cloud and on-premises environments. The solution should provide consistent visibility and control for physical machines, virtual machines and containers regardless of location, as well as protect the workloads from attacks, typically using a combination of network segmentation, system integrity protection, application control, behavioral monitoring, host-based intrusion prevention and anti-malware protection.

The main activities to be performed during the project are listed below:
▪ T1: Market research for unified security management and monitoring solutions. Identify and evaluate different options considering the requirements that are relevant for Critical Software hybrid infrastructure environment.
▪ T2: Design and Implement the security management and monitoring solution across Critical Software on-premises and cloud environment, in line with the requirements identified.

▪ T3: Fine-tune the solution configuration and dashboards to meet Critical Software security monitoring and incident management requirements.
▪ T4: Define and establish the operational procedures supported by the implemented solution which enable the achievement of the vulnerability management and incident management process objectives.
▪ T5: Prepare project dissertation.
Condições
Profile:
CRITICAL software is looking for a student with training in information security to work on this project.
The candidate must work on the CRITICAL Software premises and have knowledge of information security, systems and infrastructures.
Duration:
The plan and duration of the project of dissertation are flexible to adapt to conditions defined by University.
Orientation:
This dissertation will be supervised by a person with information security knowledge, in order to complement the orientation provided by the University.
Observações
This proposal will be assigned to a worker of CRITICAL Software that already signed a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and all security policies.
