We are the leading cloud-based contact center software, based in San Francisco, with offices in Lisbon, Porto, and Coimbra. At Talkdesk we are reimagining how people manage contact center's resources and schedules, helping our customers simplify the Quality Management and Unified Recording (QM/UR). Objetivo

The main objective of this internship is the development of multiple frontend modules for a QA/QR web application.
The development of such frontend modules will require the completion of the following goals:
- Develop critical thinking on the UX deliverables and give feedback to the UX team in terms of human-computer interaction. The internship will take ownership of the first components Talkdesk needs to build, following our UX solution. That implies the creation of reports, forms, graphics, flows, and validators, among other components.
- Analyze the development Informational System regarding the architecture and processes suggesting improvements. The internship will collaborate in the first steps of the product, so collaboration in establishing the best approach to work with the framework will be essential. That implies, following our scrum process, that the internship will be part of:
- Organization of the team
- Definition of ownership
- Election of user stories
- Analyze and improve business logic based on business rules. The internship will collaborate with the team to find the best approach to user stories. Find a valid design pattern, choose the external libraries to use, look for the optimal validation solutions before the different business rules, defend the chosen option against its team lead and finally, establish a pull-request validation mechanism agreed with the rest of the WFM/QM/UR teams.

Condições

The intern will have an ascribed experienced TDX mentor, with whom weekly progress meetings with be held. An onboarding plan, a final demo presentation (by the end of the internship), full participation in regular team meetings, office and company events will be also provided. Specifically, during the on-boarding period, the intern will have the opportunity to meet Talkdesk`s technical and non-technical teams! Additionally, the intern will have access to the same IT equipment and tools as any Talkdesk employee (such as a computer and personal email).

Talkdesk looks after each person and makes a point of investing in their morale and well-being.
Our offices, located in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra, have the shared benefits for each office, ranging from complimentary drinks, bread, cookies, fruit and all kind of other eatables for snacks during the day. We have a flexible and familiar work environment.

A formal internship agreement will be signed by all involved parties, and a monthly scholarship will be paid by Talkdesk - 600€/month (net).

Observações

The intern will have an ascribed experienced TDX mentor, with whom weekly progress meetings with be held. We will also provide:
- An onboarding plan
- A final demo presentation (by the end of the internship)
- Full participation in regular team meetings. As a full member of the team, the internship will participate in all scrum rituals, such as dailies, groomings, retrospectives, and plannings. He will also participate in our monthly face-to-face meetings and will choose, along with the rest of the team, the actions to perform in successive sprints to improve performance.
- Full participation in office and company events
Specifically, during the onboarding period, the intern will have the opportunity to meet Talkdesk`s technical and non-technical teams! Additionally, the intern will have access to the same IT equipment and tools as any Talkdesk employee (such as a computer and personal email).
The internship experience is targeted to be as enriching as possible, as a real and deep learning environment will be provided. Personal development will also exist, as the trainee will integrate TDX multicultural team, where different nationalities and cultures coexist in a daily basis, and English is used as a primary working language.
