Enquadramento

This internship aims to provide the intern with practical experience in the field of Product Management, allowing them to:

• Develop an understanding of Agile methodologies such as scrum or kanban frameworks
• Effectively create, manage and prioritise product backlogs
• Develop strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Contribute to product discovery and user research
• Track and measure product success using key metrics
• Develop a product mindset and strategic thinking
• Contribute to real-world projects within an enterprise environment
• Develop essential people skills, including teamwork, communication, and problem-solving

Objetivo

Upon completion of this internship, the intern is expected to have achieved the following learning outcomes:

• Practical experience supporting and developing new features and initiatives in an agile development team within an enterprise setting
• Understanding of the product ecosystem and technologies used within Constellation Automotive Group
• Knowledge of key Product Management techniques, best practices and evidence of their practical application.
• Improved teamwork, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• A portfolio of completed works demonstrating their abilities and deliverables, with measurable business impact.

Plano de Trabalhos - Semestre 1

The intern will be involved in the following activities:

Agile ceremonies:
• Be involved in the day-to-day activities and running of an agile software development team such as standups, refinements and retrospectives.

Requirements gathering:
• Participating in meetings with stakeholders to understand needs and document requirements for new initiatives.

Plano de Trabalhos - Semestre 2

The intern will be involved in the following activities:

Product discovery, design & research:
• Assist in conducting market research, gathering customer feedback and forming user centred designs based on research.

Backlog management:
• Assist in translating designs and requirements into refined user stories, ready for development teams to work on.

Product go-to-market involvement:
• Support implementation and rollout of new products and features into various European markets.

Product lifecycle involvement:
• Engage in Quarterly planning and prioritisation processes and contribute to monthly reporting to stakeholders.

Learning & Training:
• Research and learn about best practices & product management techniques to recommend opportunities to improve ways of working.

Condições

The intern will have the following conditions:

• Work equipment (computer)
• Hybrid work model (maximum 1x per week in the office)
• Monthly Compensation (to be discussed with student later on)
• Meal allowance

Observações

The intern's performance will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Product management skills: Evidence of our Associate Product Owner capabilities including leadership and influence, strategic thinking, planning and prioritisation, execution and delivery, stakeholder management and commercial awareness.
Teamwork: Contribution to team efforts and collaboration with colleagues.
Professionalism: Adherence to company policies and professional conduct.

Evaluation Methods:
• Regular meetings with the mentor with formal biweekly check-ins to discuss progress and provide feedback.
• Performance review by the mentor/ sponsor at the midpoint and end of the internship.
• Intern's self-assessment of their learning and achievements.
