Your workplace will be in Imaginary Cloud's office in Coimbra, Rua João de Ruão, Torre Arnado, 12, 8º D. However, due to all pandemic's constraints, the internship will be started remotely and will remain so until the company's decision.
Enquadramento
Imaginary Cloud is a young, agile, and growing company delivering top quality applications for Web & Mobile. The company is headquartered in Lisbon, has offices in Coimbra and London, and works with innovative client companies all around the world.
In an autonomous way, the student will develop a project to help a company improve the usability and performance of a digital product. During the project, the student will assess the state of the art, will propose technical and design solutions to solve the problems faced, and they will program the proposed solutions. In the end, the student will assess the final results and will make the adjustments needed.
During the internship, the student will be working under a project agile environment, observing and participating in all stages of a project lifecycle. The student will pair with our senior team members and be closely monitored by the project’s Team Lead and appointed supervisor.
The project will respect the timings set by the university for the master thesis process.
Objetivo
By the end of the internship, the student should be able to:
• Understand and apply the best practices regarding the UX/UI on digital product development
• Assess the Ideation’s technical feasibility
• Understand user stories and decision matrix, and ensure that they are viable to transcribe for code
• Manage code submission with Git
• Deliver code with tests (Test Driven Development)
• Have a good understanding of a project lifecycle
• Participate in meetings with international participants, demonstrating good spoken English and project expertise
Plano de Trabalhos - Semestre 1
Stage 1: Set the scope and plan for the project
• T1 –Bibliography review and establish the state of the art.
• T2 - Define the goal and the scope of the project
• T3 – Gathering the project requirements
• T4 –Analysis, and research for technical solutions to implement
• T5 – Define the architecture and set the future action plan
• T6 – Produce a project proposal

Stage 2: Product development and build a final report
• T7 - Setup the development environment and produce an initial prototype
• T8 – Development of the product
• T9 – Setup the test environment and implement the usability tests
• T10 – Delivery of the project
• T11 – Produce the final report.
Condições
• The student will receive a scholarship of 20€/day during the internship.

Observações
It's mandatory to have a good English proficiency
