Wizdee Discovery (http://wizdee.com/discovery) is a disruptive business discovery solution that empowers its users with a simple and intuitive way of answering business questions. It makes analytics simple and easy to use for everyone, through a natural language search tool that provides instant answers and eye catching visualisations. Wizdee Discovery is a combination of statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms that are in the basis of the next generation of Business Intelligence tools.
Objetivo
One of the distinctive advantages of Wizdee Discovery will be the ability to perform analysis on the go, using a smartphone or a tablet. The advanced search engine will allow the user to easily get answers to their questions, wherever they are. The automatic visualization of the results makes it easier to analyse information in small devices. In order to provide a rich and appealing experience to the user, it is crucial that the interface can be adapted to the device where it is being used. This requires the design and development of interfaces specific for each type of device, smartphones and tablets, taking into account the capabilities and specificities of such devices.
The main objective of this work is the development of the following modules in the Wizdee Discovery solution:
- Smartphone Interface: Design and develop an interface that is adequate for smartphone devices and with support for the iOS, Android and Windows platforms.
- Tablet Interface: Design and develop an interface that is adequate for tablet devices and with support for the iOS, Android and Windows platforms.

Wizdee is a spin-off of University of Coimbra, Portugal, founded by a team with a strong background in knowledge management, artificial intelligence and natural language processing. Following years of research and development, the company raised $1M from seed investors Portugal Ventures and Novabase Capital to support the development of Wizdee Discovery, a disruptive business discovery solution.
