Enquadramento

Over the last decade several text mining techniques have been applied in large textual dataset to help identify relevant concepts, as well the relations between them. These automatic and semi-automatic methodologies have also been applied to identify opinions and sentiments from public fora. Focusing on the Human-Computer Interaction area, they have the potential to continuously monitor the users’ perception about technology and new systems, namely technology-enabled solutions for health, such as games for health.

Objetivo

Leveraging this preliminary opinion mining and sentiment analysis methodology, the goal of this dissertation is to improve and further develop the methodology and to apply it to new cases of study.
